Kobe Bryant's age when he was drafted

It seems that Kobe Bryant is not attending college. He never graduated from high school and he also didn't go to college. Many people think that it's surprising but it's true. The basketball player was born in 1978 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. His parents named Pamela and Joseph were 18 years old when they had a son, Kobe. In 1982, the family moved to Italy because of Joseph's job. The father wanted his son to be a basketball player so he sent him into a sport school in 1981. In 1994, Kobe became one of the best players from Lower Merion High School as he was named as "Parade" magazine All-American and won the national Gatorade Player of the Year.

In 1996, Kobe decided to enter the NBA by jumping straight from high school without looking back. He became a player of Charlotte Hornets but was immediately traded to Los Angeles Lakers after just 8 games because he wasn't ready for NBA. The first years were hard for Kobe as he had many injuries and was on and off the court. In 2003, he became a top scorer in the NBA and won his first championship when the Lakers beat the New Jersey Nets 4-0. Kobe was named as Finals MVP and proved that he is one of the best in the league.
